Description

Forget soggy salads and mushy chips -- these handy meal-divider inserts keep wet and dry foods separate in your canning jar. Place dry or crunchy items like chips and salad greens in the jar, insert the silicone cup, and place wet items, like salsa or salad dressing, in the top. When it's time to eat, you can dip the chips into the salsa or mix the dressing into your greens. Perfect for overnight oats and toppings, yogurt with granola and berries, or veggies and dips. The inserts create a tight seal to eliminate the chance of leaks.
Set includes two silicone cups that create a leak-proof seal; one cup has a central divider for even more versatility. Measuring lines on the inside of the cups allows easy portion control. Fits wide-mouth mason jars. Jars not included.

Dr. Brigid McCrea

Educational, Extension Specialist, Chicken Whisperer

Dr. Brigid McCrea is an Extension Specialist at Auburn University working with the Alabama Cooperative Extension System. Her B.S. and M.S. degrees in Avian Science are from the University of California at Davis, and Ph.D. in Poultry Science is from Auburn University. She specializes in small flocks; niche market poultry products; and both pre– and post-harvest food safety. She is also the co-author of “The Chicken Whisperer’s Guide to Keeping Chickens,” “Chicken Fact or Chicken Poop,” and “Chicken Whisperer’s Guide to Zero Waste Chicken Keeping.”
