Stock up on canning supplies! These two-piece metal lids fit standard (not wide-mouth) or wide-mouth canning jars, including our Jelly Jars, Pint Jars, and Quart Jars. Also compatible with most regular mouth and wide-mouth canning jars on the market. The flat, metal, single-use lids have a rubberized ring that softens and seals when placed on the glass jar and heated, creating a safe, secure, air-tight seal. The screw bands may be reused again and again. The shiny silver lids are printed with our logo and have plenty of room for writing contents and the date.

Dr. Brigid McCrea

Dr. Brigid McCrea is an Extension Specialist at Auburn University working with the Alabama Cooperative Extension System. Her B.S. and M.S. degrees in Avian Science are from the University of California at Davis, and Ph.D. in Poultry Science is from Auburn University. She specializes in small flocks; niche market poultry products; and both pre– and post-harvest food safety. She is also the co-author of “The Chicken Whisperer’s Guide to Keeping Chickens,” “Chicken Fact or Chicken Poop,” and “Chicken Whisperer’s Guide to Zero Waste Chicken Keeping.”
