Eliminate unpleasant odors in your Stainless Steel Compost Keeper.
Absorbs Odors: Charcoal filters help absorb odors that compost pails produce.
How to Maximize Filter Life: Let food cool down before putting in your composter. Moisture from warm product can decrease the time for changing the filter. Do not wash and reuse the filter.
Replacing Filter: The charcoal filter absorbs the odors and once it has fully absorbed to its maximum, discard filter. Pull old filter out and toss. Only one filter is needed at a time and fits easily and snugly inside the lid. Filters should be changed approximately every 6 months.
