These unbleached cotton tea bags are a perfect, all-natural alternative for Kombucha brewing. They are made of unbleached muslin and reusable. Fill with loose leaf tea and let steep.

Multi-purpose bags: They can also be used with coffee or chai spice – add to water, cider or wine. If you cook with fine herbs, they are great for creating a recoverable seasoning sachet for soups and stew. Fill with herbs and spices and use in bath or as a sachet to freshen drawers.

Dr. Brigid McCrea

Educational, Extension Specialist, Chicken Whisperer

Dr. Brigid McCrea is an Extension Specialist at Auburn University working with the Alabama Cooperative Extension System. Her B.S. and M.S. degrees in Avian Science are from the University of California at Davis, and Ph.D. in Poultry Science is from Auburn University. She specializes in small flocks; niche market poultry products; and both pre– and post-harvest food safety. She is also the co-author of “The Chicken Whisperer’s Guide to Keeping Chickens,” “Chicken Fact or Chicken Poop,” and “Chicken Whisperer’s Guide to Zero Waste Chicken Keeping.”
