Description

MaxVac® power on the go! This rechargeable vacuum sealer extends shelf life and prevents freezer burn by removing air and creating an airtight seal without tethering you to the nearest outlet. The compact size and light weight make it easy take with you camping and tailgating. This sealer is powered by a lithium-ion battery with a standard USB-C port to allow you to charge it at home, in the car, or in the camper. A built-in roll holder inside the lid allows you to cut roll material to the desired length to create custom-sized bags.

  • Vacuum seal meat, fish, fruits, and vegetables for long-term freezer storage.
  • Create easy-to-cook sous vide bags for boil-in-bag cooking.
  • When the battery runs low, plug it in and keep going.
  • Includes one USB to USB-C charging cable and AC charger (car charger not included).
  • Approx. 70 seals per full charge.

Dr. Brigid McCrea

Educational, Extension Specialist, Chicken Whisperer

Dr. Brigid McCrea is an Extension Specialist at Auburn University working with the Alabama Cooperative Extension System. Her B.S. and M.S. degrees in Avian Science are from the University of California at Davis, and Ph.D. in Poultry Science is from Auburn University. She specializes in small flocks; niche market poultry products; and both pre– and post-harvest food safety. She is also the co-author of “The Chicken Whisperer’s Guide to Keeping Chickens,” “Chicken Fact or Chicken Poop,” and “Chicken Whisperer’s Guide to Zero Waste Chicken Keeping.”
