This kit makes it easy to make lacto-fermented pickles at home. From deli-style full sours and half sours to classic dills and fiery hot pickles, they all get a snappy crunch and tart pucker, not from vinegar, but from fermentation.
Kit includes: Glass fermentation jar, glass fermentation weight, air-locked lid, high-quality kosher salt, and Black Tea.
1/2 Gallon Glass Jar: Half-gallon glass jar is ideal for fermenting, storing and serving.
Glass Fermentation Weight: Fermentation weight keeps your vegetables fully submerged during fermentation and has a hole in it so you can easily get it in and out of the jar.
Lid with Airlock: Airlock lid means you don't have to worry about "burping" your ferment and keeps everything you want in the jar in, and everything you don't want out.
Easy Process: Simply cover your cucumbers with brine, add black tea for tannins, top with your lid and airlock, and you'll have crisp, unbeatable pickles in just a few days.
