Description

This Electric Bath Canner is a versatile kitchen appliance. More energy-efficient and versatile than a stovetop hot water bath canner, this multi-cooker can also be used to boil water for pasta, corn on the cob, and seafood. Use it to dispense coffee, cider, cocoa, and other hot beverages too. Temperature adjusts from 120° to 212° F (boil) / 49° to 100° C, and an indicator light shows when set temperature is reached. Includes one-piece stainless steel pot with plug-in base, glass lid, and removable canning rack.

  • Large 27 L stainless steel pot accommodates 8 quart, 11 pint, or 14 jelly (8 oz.) canning jars
  • Removable canning jar rack keeps jars from touching the bottom of the pot
  • Durable stainless steel pot is easy to clean
  • Snug-fitting glass lid with ventilation hole holds in heat and moisture and allows you to view contents
  • Plastic handles stay cool to the touch
  • Handy spigot makes it easy and safe to drain and to serve hot beverages
  • Will keep liquids at a rolling boil when dial is set to "Boil"

Dr. Brigid McCrea

Educational, Extension Specialist, Chicken Whisperer

Dr. Brigid McCrea is an Extension Specialist at Auburn University working with the Alabama Cooperative Extension System. Her B.S. and M.S. degrees in Avian Science are from the University of California at Davis, and Ph.D. in Poultry Science is from Auburn University. She specializes in small flocks; niche market poultry products; and both pre– and post-harvest food safety. She is also the co-author of “The Chicken Whisperer’s Guide to Keeping Chickens,” “Chicken Fact or Chicken Poop,” and “Chicken Whisperer’s Guide to Zero Waste Chicken Keeping.”
