Description

This Digital Thermometer with built-in alarm and timer is great for cheese making. The 42" probe cord with heat resistant (up to 482 degrees) silicon covering allows oven or grill door to close while the probe measures internal temperature. An alarm sounds when the desired internal temperature is reached. Digital readout with temperature range of 32 to 572 degrees F. Magnets on the bottom so you can easily attach to the range.

Designed for you by LEM, a family-owned company, to make creating from scratch a bit easier.

Dr. Brigid McCrea

Educational, Extension Specialist, Chicken Whisperer

Dr. Brigid McCrea is an Extension Specialist at Auburn University working with the Alabama Cooperative Extension System. Her B.S. and M.S. degrees in Avian Science are from the University of California at Davis, and Ph.D. in Poultry Science is from Auburn University. She specializes in small flocks; niche market poultry products; and both pre– and post-harvest food safety. She is also the co-author of “The Chicken Whisperer’s Guide to Keeping Chickens,” “Chicken Fact or Chicken Poop,” and “Chicken Whisperer’s Guide to Zero Waste Chicken Keeping.”
